After receiving her master's degree from the University of Georgia in 1980, Kristi moved to Bellingham to open a business as a Forensic Consultant. She worked with many of the local attorneys putting on mock juries, investigating both civil and criminal cases, doing accident reconstruction, interviewing witnesses and providing consulting services on related subjects.
Following this she worked for a local computer company where she was a documentalist which required precision and an understanding of complicated processes.
Both of these jobs were provided a perfect background to Kristi's career as a Realtor. Many of the skills required in the legal and computer fields are necessary for a successful agent. An attention to detail, understanding of legal contracts, ability to listen carefully in order to accurately and quickly grasp and meet her clients' real estate needs are all important skills needed in a successful Realtor.
