Nancy Braam, Broker

Past performance is no guarantee of future performance...but what else do you have to go by?

Sometimes it seems that everyone on earth has held a job as either a bartender or a real estate agent (or both).

Real estate is an easy business to get into, but a hard business in which to be successful. Most agents don''t last 3 years. The national average number of sales is 7 per year.

If average is okay for you - go ahead and pick anyone. Or are you the person who realizes the full weight and importance of the decisions you make surrounding a real estate transaction.

It''s sort of like climbing Mt. Everest. There are a lot of tricks and incredibly important advice you could get from a competent guide. In fact you wouldn''t do it without a good one.

When I started real estate 25 years ago, the contract was the front and back of a single legal page. Now even an all cash deal is rarely less then 11 pages and it is not uncommon to be over 18 pages. Each of the paragraphs represent a lawsuit that happened to someone. A problem that you don''t want to see.

With over 750 transactions under my belt, the best advice I could give you is pick your Realtor carefully. Take the time to interview. Choose a person who will competently guide you to the successful conclusion of your goals and dreams.

I invite you to interview me. I''ll guide, educate and listen. You point; I''ll make it happen.
