Let me tell you a bit more about myself, and why I believe I'm qualified to be the best Realtor to serve you. Since my early twenties, I've been involved in residential construction from foundations to finish carpentry and fine woodwork. I became a licensed general contractor in California in 1998, and made my living as a builder until 2003. In '03, I became a state-licensed home inspector, certified by the Department of Agriculture as a Structural Pest Inspector. Over the next 3 1/2 yeas I conducted over 700 home inspections in Whatcom and Skagit Counties, deepening my understanding of residential construction much, much further than I ever imagined. During that time, I began learning about real estate investment, and became a licensed Realtor. After more than a decade involved in the construction and performance of buildings, I had found my passion: Guiding, educating, and representing people buying or selling a home. Real estate is a competitive business, and that's partly what drew me to it. I've been a top-level athlete my entire life, from my years as a two-time All-State basketball player in high school, to world record breaking kayak racer now. I thrive on competition, and I push myself to be the best at whatever I do.
