If you are looking for someone who really knows and loves this area, I am your agent! My paternal grandparents built a house on Cornwall Avenue when it was a dirt road! (It’s still there, right across the street from Assumption School.) All of my nine brothers and sisters and their families still live in Whatcom County, a true testament to this areas beauty and quality of life.

PERSONAL

I have been in real estate since 1986. My son, Ryan Bergsma, is my partner on our real estate team, so you actually have two agents working for you! Someone is always available for questions or concerns.

I am also married to a Realtor from another local real estate firm who works in tandem with his son.

My main interest is people, from my vast extended family to the many clients who have become fast friends over the years. Other interests include antiquing, home remodel & decorating, gardening, travel, and especially my three grandchildren, Cicely, Sidney and Teo.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

I served two years on the Board of Directors for Lydia Place, I have also been involved in volunteering for the Salvation Army. I  served as a  state director for the Board of Realtors in 2005 until 2007, a position which I also previosly held from 1993 to 2004. I am also a member of the RE/MAX 100% Club and the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. I also have volunteered for our local "Sea to Ski" festival, serving as a judge for the parade for the last 5 years and hosting some of  the athletes for our "Team Re/max" for the past 2 years.
