Mission Statement
My goal is to put my client's needs first by utilizing professionalism, honesty, integrity, and uncompromising continual service. In so doing, I will strive to earn your loyalty and trust, to create life-long relationships. In placing your interests ahead of my own, I strive to be the real estate professional you think of when it comes to referring your friends and family.
About Me
I graduated from the
University of Montana in 1975 with degrees in biology and geology. I taught high school science courses until 1982 when I decided I needed a new challenge. I became licensed as a Realtor® and spent the next few years plying my new trade in Montana. In 1985 my wife and I accepted teaching positions in
Alaska working in remote logging camps, usually accessible only by float plane. In 1990 we moved to
Kona, Hawaii into a house I built there on the big island. In 1992 we, again, moved to
Alaska where I taught math in Barrow. In 2003 we decided we'd had enough of the cold and we moved to
the warmer climes of Birch Bay and I renewed my license as a Realtor.
And here we remain! We enjoy the mild climate, friendly people, beautiful scenery, and endless activities to be had. My wonderful wife, Phyllis, and I have two wonderful kids. I enjoy taking my dogs to the beach during low tide (so many curiosities for them to find and play with.) I also like tending to my many fruit trees and ample garden. I also fancy myself an amateur photographer. You'll see some of the photos on these pages. We are very happy with our decision to move to Washington and have settled in very nicely. We look forward to being a part of the community for a long time to come.
